Physical Therapist-Pediatrics

Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, with a variety of physical impairments and conditions.Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each child's specific needs and goals- Provide hands-on therapy to improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and balance- Teach parents and caregivers techniques for assisting their child with exercises and activities at home- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for each child- Monitor and track progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes- Stay current with the latest research and treatments in pediatric physical therapyRequirements:- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program- Current FL state license to practice as a Physical Therapist- Current FL Medicaid number in the state of Florida or eligible to apply- Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy preferred- Experience working with children with a variety of physical disabilities and conditions- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to careIf you have a passion for helping children reach their full potential and want to make a difference in the lives of pediatric patients, we want to hear from you.
