We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do. *This position is a full-time Summer Internship (May to August 2024) and will be hybrid based out of our Irvine, CA offic e* Joining the Corporate Communications team, this individual is responsible for concepting and executing the creation of short form video content, supporting internal video needs and fueling our consumer channels of the Shark and Ninja brands. The Social Media and Video Editor Intern plays an important role in the day-to-day creation of short form video content for internal and external use. We need someone who can hit the ground running, take responsibility, and very quickly start contributing creative video ideas and cutting existing video content into TikTok-style videos. This person must have experience in creating and editing video content using in-app and video editing software. Responsibilities: Produce, shoot, and edit dynamic, short format TikToks, Reels and other social video content using the latest trends and techniques for internal and external use Ideate smart videos and execute inspirational briefs, storyboards, and strategy for short format video Manage quick turn edits and fast video requests to meet deadlines Work directly with our Content Strategy Team, Culinary, Marketing, Creative, Engineering, Product Development and Legal teams to create short form, trend-focused and engaging content to support 2023 new product development SKUs for internal use Work directly with Sr Manager, Social Media to concept and create TikTok content for consumer channels (Ninja Kitchen, Shark Beauty and Shark Home), keeping in mind trends, historical performance and content needs Problem solve with video content, ideating creative ways to visually communicate a product's wow Requirements: Experience in short form edits ( Proficiency with the TikTok and Instagram platforms, trends and editing best practices 1-3 years of video editing experience using in-app editing features (TikTok), Vixer, Adobe Creative Suite including Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Premiere Pro Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and manage multiple obligations Solid foundational understanding of social media Ability to work collaboratively as a team, as well as being a self-starter, owning a task from start to finish Excellent time management and organizational skills Hybrid role, requiring in-office 2-3 days each week At SharkNinja, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are vital to our global success.
