Partner with the best As a Mechanic in the rotor shop you will perform various operations including but not limited to; disassembly, inspecting, balancing, and reassembling of Gas Turbine rotors, Centrifugal compressor rotors, and Steam rotors.As a Rotor Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for : Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.) Possessing a deep mechanical aptitude with ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings including Performing vertical and horizontal balancing of gas turbines Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of rotating equipment while under time constraints Troubleshooting, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of Rotating Equipment. Assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent diploma Have minimum 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following areas: GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, Frame 3/Frame 5/Frame 7 Gas Turbine and Steam repairs Have manual machining experience with gas turbines and steam rotors Have good knowledge of HSE requirements and be able to follow and update safety policies and procedures Be able to work second shift- 2PM-10:30PM.
