Used-car inventory Purchaser Full-time position (remote, flexible hours)Pay: Salary + CommissionTravel required (primarily throughout the Greater-Erie and Greater-Pittsburgh regions) Dean Inc. is hiring a Used-Car Inventory Purchaser to acquire pre-owned vehicles from private sellers for its three locations: Lake View Ford in Conneaut Lake; Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Greenville; and Dean Honda in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. This position is responsible for: Communicating frequently with the Used-Car Sales Managers to identify inventory needs at their respective dealerships. Sourcing private sellers through online platforms (heavy on social media). Scheduling and meeting sellers to appraise their vehicles. Arranging the legal transfer of vehicle’s title work, payment and pickup/delivery. Requirements: Valid driver's license. Established personal Facebook account. Self-motivated to perform. Willingness to drive long distances within a day. Pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred, but not required: Experience in the auto-sales industry. Experience appraising vehicles.
