Position Overview:The Assistant Retail Manager for the Chestnut Hill location will lead a team of dedicated Concierges, Customer Experience Assistants, and Jewelry Consultants to deliver exceptional service to the customers. The role involves creating and maintaining a luxury environment in the showroom, ensuring high standards of customer service, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should be a motivated, dedicated and experienced team leader who can work on weekends.Key Responsibilities: The Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for recruiting, managing and mentoring the Customer Experience team to deliver personalized and memorable experiences to the customers. They will work closely with the Retail Operations team to maintain a luxury environment in the showroom and ensure that the team is meeting high standards of customer service. The role involves conducting in-person customer appointments, responding to customer inquiries over phone, email and live chat, and problem-solving customer experience escalations. The Assistant Retail Manager will also collaborate with other departments on special projects in operations, merchandising, marketing, HR and customer care.Specific Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have experience managing people in retail or direct-to-consumer sales, store leadership or keyholder experience. They should demonstrate a proven track record of recruiting and growing high-performing and accountable teams. A BA degree or equivalent is preferred. The Assistant Retail Manager should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional time management skills, and a high level of accountability. They should be highly organized with a focus on execution, problem-solving, and improving processes.
