Summary Are you an experienced Equipment Operator looking for a change? Are you looking to be a part of a company that values your contributions and can provide continuous opportunities for growth? E Construction, a division of N. P. A. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to join it's base crew based out of Cold Lake, AB for the upcoming 2024 Construction Season! The successful person will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of equipment utilized in the road building process. Key Responsibilities • Operate the equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. • Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area. • Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. • Operate equipment on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings. • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of various equipment. • Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the equipment. • Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required. Qualifications Requirements • High School Diploma or G. E. D. preferred. • Class 5 Drivers License. • Minimum 2 years' experience within the road construction industry. • 2 - 3 years' experience operating a Dozer and Loader or other piece of Heavy Equipment.
