The GOT team of the Global Operations and Compliance Technology (GOCT) is responsible for implementing (and ongoing support) a global, multi-entity, multi-region cash management application used to service our Currency Services business areas. This application is built by a third-party vendor using Java and MS SQL technologies, runs 24 x 7, processes millions of transactions monthly, services 200+ users and interacts with 10+ systems in batch and real-time. It provides a variety of utilities (online, workflow, electronic, reporting) to facilitate a scalable and controlled operational environment for our clients. The incumbent will be a senior technical contributor with Java, SQL Server and Active MQ expertise. The incumbent will utilize his or her technical skills to do development, unit testing and deployment. The incumbent will apply his or her troubleshooting skills to work with the vendor, business partners, and IT partners on production issues. The mandate is to provide a workaround or final solution to support our business. The incumbent will carry a pager rotation with other team members for production support. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Understanding the business area and user requirements, providing Production support to business users Performing program design, coding and development - performing unit testing Producing documentation based on the company's standards. Design (and leverage where they exist) reusable frameworks - environment management and layout design. Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
