We are seeking a talented Site Engineer to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a significant section of a major new rail link project. As a Site Engineer, you will lead a team of junior engineers, overseeing construction operations and ensuring adherence to rigorous standards, schedules, and budgets. Collaborating closely with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman, you will allocate resources effectively, including labour, plant, and materials, to execute work activities with precision and efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Leading the setting: out team and ensuring accurate placement of infrastructure elements Mentoring and developing junior engineers to optimise their performance and growth Identifying and resolving technical challenges in coordination with senior team members and the Sub Agent Monitoring subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality standards Facilitating seamless communication and information flow within the team Assisting in the production of essential project documents, such as programmes, progress reports, and cost plans Contributing to financial forecasting to support project planning and decision: making This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering project shaping the future of transportation infrastructure.
