As our Community Housing Assistant (CHA), you’re the face-to-face customer support to our communities. Here in Teesside, Durham and Sunderland, Home Group have many support services, which help our customers who have individual and varying needs. Instead of working in one service, our CRT gives you the opportunity to work across a wide range of supported services and alongside our specialised teams, helping to enrich our customers lives. Typical day as our Community Housing Assistant · Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you’ll really get to get to know our communities. · You’ll support our housing managers to look after their patches and through this, help us to improve our local neighbourhoods. · You’ll support with tasks such as managing our voids processes which includes liaising with local authorities, estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site. · You’ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities. · You’ll also manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.
