About Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries: Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is a non-profit organization whose motto is “We put people to work”. We were founded in 1916 and are one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio. We have a Scheduling Coordinator opportunity available for a creative, motivated, and enthusiastic problem solver who can envision approaching creating schedules as a giant puzzle. Due to the nature of work in our Job Coaching Department schedules are created by hand and can require frequent tweaks to schedules throughout the week.Additionally, this role would also be responsible for acting as a backup Job Coach in the event of employee absences, vacations, and other needs. This individual will work a 5-day work week, full-time, and on Saturdays . Must be available to work on Saturdays. This position offers the opportunity to work behind the scenes to support a great Coaching team that supports individuals with disabilities at their jobs. Role and Responsibilities: Creates work schedule for each Job Coach weekly. Taking into consideration listed vacations, requests off, etc. Responds to, communicates with, and updates Job Coaches relating to any changes to their schedule throughout the week. Communicates with, and updates Community Supports Supervisor and Community Supports Manager related to scheduling issues and needs. Prepares, updates and edits scheduling files daily/weekly. Provides hands-on instruction to clients on job tasks at the worksite. Other duties as assigned in relation to job coaching or scheduling. Required Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma Preferred 2- or 4-year degree in a field related social service Six months experience working with individuals with disabilities in a vocational setting preferred; and six months working/involved with the creation of schedules preferred Advanced Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Must be able to pass criminal, state, and federal background checks Must possess reliable transportation and be covered under verifiable auto insurance Strong decision making, time management, and professional communication skills Accommodating with weekly schedules that may vary to include evenings and weekends We offer competitive salary and benefits including: Starting Pay: $20/Hr.
