This successful candidate has 5+ years of CNC Lathe or Mills Machining experience utilizing various metals and stainless steel.This is a DIRECT HIRE, Full-Time opportunity.Compensation: $50-55/Hr.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Schedule: M-F with Opportunity for OT on Saturdays1st Shift: 5AM-2:30PM2nd Shift: 2:30PM- 10PMQualifications: * 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience manufacturing valves or actuators is a plus! * MUST be available to work overtime when required for priority shipments. * Ability to set up and run CNC Lathe or Mills machines in time allocated. * Knowledge of tooling, including best grades to use for different materials and jobs, cutting, speeds and feeds, drilling, threading, and machine capabilities. * Ability to read blueprints, traveler, and measuring micrometer. * Ability to make set ups strong and safe enough to run at optimum speeds and depths of cut. * Able to troubleshoot and edit programs to safely increase metal removal rate and decrease in cycle time. * Ability to use precision measuring instruments to check parts. * Ability to improve quality by inspecting parts and making sure that part is to print. * Must be able to manipulate large castings in place for machining.Summary: * Sets up and operates CNC machines such as lathes and mills, to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications, by performing the duties/responsibilities indicated below. * Works from prints, sketches, process sheets, layouts, templates written and verbal instructions. * Checks CNC programs for errors and debugs/ edits them in order to improve time and quality of program. * Consults programmer to establish sequence of operation and product program readout when required. * Measures and adjusts machine parts. * Adjusts machine feed and speed and changes cutters to machine parts according to specifications when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions. * Troubleshoots and interprets malfunctions and makes corrections. * May assist others in repair of own machines or equipment. * Detects and reports machine problems and faulty material. * Checks traveler and blueprints for errors or special instructions. * Uses precision measuring tools/equipment to check accuracy and quality of product. * Checks for accuracy, grade, style. * Locates, adjusts, and secures tools and tool holders, grinds tools, mounts work holding fixtures, and adjusts index table to follow programming instructions. * Uses hoists and cranes to move parts around work center and loads and unloads machines. * Keeps necessary records.Robust Benefits Package: * Multiple health plans to choose from: EPO, PPO with a low-cost share * Best-in-class 401K plan with zero vesting and up to 6% contribution matching. * Mental Health and wellness programs to support you and your family. * Short & long-term disability as well as basic life insurance at 2x your basic salary at no cost to the employee. * Free financial advisors, webinars, and classes.If this sounds like the job for you and you meet our qualifications, APPLY NOW for immediate consideration.
