Description: You will be the Facility Maintenance Mechanic for the Lockheed Martin Greenville location. Our team is responsible for maintaining the Greenville Support Operations facility to ensure the site is successful in its day to day operation. What You Will Be Doing As the Facility Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Lockheed Martin facility which will include, but not limited to, maintenance, Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions. Assembles and installs equipment using hand and power tools; aligns machines; performs routine inspection and maintenance and may replace worn or broken parts and reassemble. Assists in the overhaul and repair of complex mechanical equipment as needed. The Facility Maintenance Mechanic will also need to be able to perform the duties listed below:*Must be available to respond to off hour calls and emergencies* May be required to lift/carry 50 pounds or more, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience with commercial or industrial related facilities/maintenance taskings. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
