Position: Crime Investigator PIP 1 – OPERATION BRAMBER Division / Department: Specialist Crime Command, Operation Bramber Status: Full Time or Happy to Talk Flexible Working Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract The Role & Key Responsibilities: We have an exciting opportunity to join Susinteraction Police as a Crime Investigator working on a 12-month, fixed term contract. Position: Crime Investigator PIP 1 – OPERATION BRAMBER Division / Department: Specialist Crime Command, Operation Bramber Status: Full Time or Happy to Talk Flexible Working Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract The Role & Key Responsibilities: We have an exciting opportunity to join Susinteraction Police as a Crime Investigator working on a 12-month, fixed term contract. Successful applicants will support Operation Bramber, an investigation into potential offences of Manslaughter by Gross Negligence and Corporate Manslaughter by Gross Negligence at a large medical establishment in Susinteraction. Responsibilities include: Supporting the investigation of Rape cases. Thoroughly investigating allegations to bring potential offenders to justice. Assisting in pursuing lines of enquiry to prove/disprove allegations and keep victims safe. Collaborating with detectives and criminal investigators. Location: Crime Investigators will be based at Centenary House, Worthing, initially, but flexibility is required. Skills & Experience: Ability to handle challenging situations involving vulnerable adults. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven initiative and problem-solving skills. Ability to plan, organise, and complete tasks within tight deadlines. Commitment to integrity and fairness. Emotional resilience and passion for public service. Proficient IT skills. Desired Experience: Knowledge of criminal justice procedures. Experience in criminal investigations. Professionalising Investigations Programme PIP1 accreditation.
