Key Responsibilities: As a Security Systems Installer, youll play a pivotal role in safeguarding properties through the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a variety of security systems, including fire alarms, gate automation, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. Your day: to: day duties will include: First and second fix installation of fire alarm, gate automation, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, (domestic, commercial) Service and maintenance of fire alarm, automated gates, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, (domestic, commercial, industrial) Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware Making sure everything runs smoothly through servicing, maintenance, and repairs Keeping the lines of communication open with clients and team members Monitor systems for irregular behaviour and set up preventive measures Ability to demonstrate systems to customers, and user training Elaboration of quotations Good attention to detail in order to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed, and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales Requirements: To excel in this role, youll need: A minimum of two years of experience in security engineering Exceptional communication skills and a customer: centric approach to client interaction Proficiency in industry standards and regulations, including a thorough grasp of Health and Safety protocols A penchant for organization, cleanliness, and efficiency on job sites Basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to measure voltage and current.
