Job Description: They are in search of a dedicated Site Engineer to join a dynamic team for a landmark smart motorways improvement project. As a key member of the site team, you will be instrumental in the successful execution and delivery of this GBP1bn project, leveraging cutting: edge technology and innovative engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive construction plans and schedules tailored to the specific requirements of the smart motorways improvements project. Take ownership of on: site construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. Conduct frequent site inspections to meticulously monitor progress, identify potential challenges, and implement effective resolutions in real: time. Lead and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and site personnel, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain meticulous project documentation, including detailed progress reports, site records, and accurate as: built drawings. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate timely procurement and delivery of critical materials and equipment. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation and cost: efficiency enhancements to maximise project outcomes. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, coupled with a proven track record of success in civil construction projects.
