Finance Assistant Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Stoke on Trent Salary: A GBP 25,000 per annum. Hours: 35:40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail: oriented Finance Assistant to play a key role in supporting our Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation and develop your career in finance. Key Responsibilities Managing accounts receivable Assisting the Head of Finance with reporting Supporting project: based reporting initiatives Contributing to the setup of new financial systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative individual with a strong analytical mindset. Collaborate with the Head of Finance to generate and analyse financial reports. Assist in preparing regular financial statements for management review. Contribute to the development of insightful reports for various stakeholders. Support finance projects by providing accurate and timely financial information. Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data for reporting purposes. Analyse project financials and contribute to project: based reporting requirements. Play a key role in the implementation and setup of new financial systems. Collaborate with cross: functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Assist in training staff on new systems and processes Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in finance or accounting roles. Strong analytical and problem: solving skills. Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
