Permanent – 40 Hours per week We have a new, exciting position for two enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyors to join our team within Lovell’s Midlands region, working on various projects around Birmingham. Joining our commercial team, you’ll help in assisting in the delivery of a variety of schemes / projects, whilst progressing with on-the-job learning. Reporting to our Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll assist in project cost control procedures in particular, re-measurement of the works / variations, inventories of stocks and evaluation of the Interim / Final Accounts. Candidates will hold a minimum of 6 GCSE’s and / or 3 A Levels, C or above (or equivalent) and although not essential the preference would be for candidates to have a further accounts qualifications or experience. With the ability to apply yourself in a professional manner, with the eagerness to learn from your peers, you’ll have excellent communication skills with the drive to learn and the ambition to build and progress on your career with Lovell.
