The Role The main responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient payroll role and proactively contribute to the smooth running of the Accounts Department. Responsibilities include Payroll Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of staff accounts within the finance system. Preparation of maternity schedules/term time adjustments schedules. Process pay increases and or changes. Process tax code changes/ student loan deductions. Enrol members into the TP and Standard Life Pension schemes and manage the auto enrolment process for opt outs. Process timesheets. Calculate salaries for part time/ pro rata staff. Create salary sacrifice calculations. Run payroll routine within finance package. Review the monthly payroll data with Deputy Bursar. Create monthly supplier payment requests for Pensions/Taxation and attachment of earnings. Generate and distribute monthly payslips/P45, annual P60. Send payroll bacs file via payment software. Submission of RTI and MCR reports. Submission of Standard Life pension deductions. Generate payroll period end. Dealing with payroll queries. Reconciliation. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
