Position: Embedded Software Engineer Suitable for: C++ Software Engineer or Software Engineer with 3+ years' experience in embedded software development Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (some flexibility for home working may be possible) Salary: GBP 45,000 p. a. + Bonus + Benefits Please note that unfortunately, our client is unable to offer sponsorship Our client deploys electronics into many industries and applications. As Embedded Software Engineer you will be given the chance to work on a range of solutions and will design and develop firmware and software solutions for the complete development life cycle of their products. Embedded Software Engineer : Essential Experience / Attributes Required: Educated to a minimum of degree level in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related subject. Ideally, you will have 3 years of direct industry experience of developing embedded software across multiple platforms; You will also have the following skills; Experience designing and documenting software architectures and data/program flow Ability to program proficiently in embedded CBe comfortable with a range of platform complexity from bare: metal, RTOS up to more complex Linux systems : Requirement for Bare metal and RTOSAbility to develop firmware for a range of processor platforms, predominantly ARM and C8051Ability to use a range of development environments, predominantly STMCube, Keil, Simplicity, Vivado and Eclipse. Experience with a range of Integrated Circuit vendors, ideally including: : STMicroelectronics : STM32; Texas Instruments : TM4C (ARM); Nordic Semiconductors : n RF51/n RF52; Si Labs : C8051 range. Ability to quickly understand new chip vendors documentation and setup new development environments Embedded data analysis techniqueinteractionperience with version control software (SVN, Git Hub)Embedded Software Engineer : Desirable skills: Ability to program in C and use Visual Experience with AWS or other Cloud.
