The Role: Application Services Analyst As an Application Services Analyst, you will play a key role within the Group IT team, providing support and services for various strategic business applications utilized within PIB Group. You will be responsible for handling second and third-line application support, and managing queries through the Group IT helpdesk platform, phone, and email; furthermore, on-site support and development work will be required within our London, and occasionally, our Croydon offices. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the integration of new businesses and the migration from legacy applications onto the strategic platforms. Responsibilities: Provide second and third-line application support through the Group IT helpdesk platform, phone, and email. Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring prompt resolution of support queries. Log and manage issues on the incident management system. Escalate calls to appropriate teams or third-party suppliers when necessary. Support the building, testing, and troubleshooting of current and new application schemes. Support the building and testing of new documents and workflows. Assist in training new and existing users on application usage. Communicate and promote new application functionality or services within the business. Ensure accurate and up-to-date user licenses within the applications. Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives. Assist project teams in testing and implementing new releases. Support businesses with the integration of new acquisitions and migrations onto strategic platforms. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of service desk or IT experience. Experience working within an insurance-based role, preferably in a broker capacity. Familiarity and competency with using MS Office and SQL Server Management Studio. Knowledge of comparable applications used within PIB Group. Proficiency in SQL-based programming. Exposure to the Websure application. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
