The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The dietitian is responsible for the clinical nutrition care of patients in the Acquired Brain Injury, Acute, Rehabilitation, Forensic, and Geriatric Programs. The dietitian plays a direct role in food service operations and is uniquely a member of both the Support Service and the Program teams. Under the general direction of the Manager of Support Services, the incumbent is responsible for the nutritional backssment and care plan for approximately 250 patients as well as training related to dietary and food services for program and support service staff. Experience Experience in clinical nutrition with focus on mental health and acquired brain injuries; management within a health care environment; and adult education are assets Experience experience working in a healthcare facility, preferably in mental health is an asset Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, dietetics or related area from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent accredited by Dietitians of Canada Completion of an approved Dietetic Internship Program Certification/Licensure/Registration Incumbent must be currently registered and in good standing.
