Description:
We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper or accountant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, detail-oriented, and highly organized. We own multiple companies that all need attention to detail and a master driving the day to day business transactions in tandem with the company owners. Responsibilities: • Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records and produce financial reports • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time• Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process• Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger Qualifications: • Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)• Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required• Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar Compensation: $17 hourly About Company: Multiple companies
