Principal Activities * Be able to operate hoist-operated cranes and other lifting equipment. * Be able to follow verbal and written instructions; read and work to drawings, setup cards, charts and tables with or without job tag instructions. * Select all types of cutting tools suitable work working on all kinds of materials and on all types of cuts; properly grind cutting tools. Job Requirements:CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSKnowledge Skills & Abilities * Use of mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables; various types of precision measuring instruments. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to read and understand blueprints. * While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The associate may, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
