We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lancashire to assist with the appointment of a House Manager, on a 3 - month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £13.47 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: Manage the work of catering and domestic teams to ensure staff are meeting customer needs, booking demands and maintain high levels of cleaning and catering provision. Oversee and co-ordinate the planning of all arrangements for bespoke functions, self-catering, bed and breakfast and conference bookings taken by the centre, dealing with clients' enquiries through all communication mediums to maximise centre earning potential and provide a high standard of customer care. Undertake and maintain statutory risk backssments, COSHH and health and safety requirements relating to catering and domestic functions. Monitor stock control and ordering records to establish accuracy of costs are within budget Identify staff performance and development related to catering and domestic requirements. Take an active role in service development, including attending meetings, minute taking assisting in service marketing strategy and undertake training deemed necessary. To undertake other duties appropriate to the House Manager role, which may include weekend, evening and Bank Holiday working. Qualification: ECDL or other work based ICT qualification Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
