Miller Maintenance proudly provides maintenance services on Maintenance Contracts for Ontario Ministry of Transportation throughout the province of Ontario. Minimum Qualifications: • 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge of building a strong, dynamic, highly functional team • Experience in the highway maintenance and/or road construction industry including significant budgetary and supervisory responsibilities • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field, considered an asset • Must maintain a valid Class G Driver’s License, DZ will be considered an asset • Ability to work the maintenance schedule which may include weekends and/or night shift Preferred Qualifications: • Sound financial knowledge of accrual accounting and budgeting • Knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control will be considered an asset • Thorough knowledge of the applicable OH&S legislations and MTO specifications • Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. ) Day in the life: The highway supervisor ensures that all performance requirements on the.
