Senior Quantity Surveyors : Must Read We are seeking an ambitious and forward: thinking Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial team in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, youll be working with the Commercial team, supporting them in ensuring that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered. Duties Commercial lead on projects ranging from GBP10m : GBP60m Develop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed. Complete and submit monthly CVR and progress reports Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up and work to the profit plan Agree external valuations / cash flow to maximise project value Produce main and subcontract final accounts Requirements: Experience working for a UK Main Contractor as the Senior Quantity Surveyor Good understanding of JCT / NEC forms of contract Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages Good verbal and written communication skills Experience working for a Tier 1 construction contractor Based in Birmingham and or the surrounding areas Our promise is that we put every candidate at the centre of all we do and promise to keep you updated and informed throughout the hiring process.
