Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team. The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the collections department and ensuring timely and effective collection of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in collections. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of collections agents, providing guidance and support to ensure department goals are met- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve performance- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce delinquency- Review and analyze delinquent accounts to determine the best course of action for collection- Communicate with clients and debtors to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress to senior management- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance standards- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall company performance and customer satisfaction Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred- Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role- Strong leadership and team management skills- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations- Proficient in MS Office and collection software- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusBenefits:- Competitive salary- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance- 401(k) retirement plan with company match- Paid time off and holidays- Career development and advancement opportunities- A supportive and collaborative work environmentIf you are a results-driven individual with a passion for collections and leadership, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
