Description: Lockheed Martin's Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Global Supply Chain team is looking for a creative, detail-oriented problem- solver who is able to develop relationships in a multi-national environment quickly. The successful candidate will support ongoing growth in projects with the THAAD Localization team. This very exciting and important position is a full-time role located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an Expatriate Subcontract Associate Manager for projects.Primary responsibilities will be focused on support and execution of significant localization project efforts in support of FMS THAAD contracts. Responsibilities will include:- Interfacing with management both internally and at various subcontractors/suppliers-Reporting status and performance metrics to program level management, managing overall supplier production execution onsite with supplier base-Ensuring timely delivery and quality of direct material to the production and other required sites in support of program milestones. -A significant amount of interface with program office personnel and various functional departments and suppliers in Kingdom. - Cross-functional knowledge, partnering and leadership with Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Quality,Engineering and Production Operations will be essential for success in this role. -Working with multi-national personnel in a business environment where relationships are key to achieving the mission.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the procurement and management of subcontracts for complex subsystems, components, parts, and hardware in support of program needs. Additional Duties include: -Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish relationships while fostering a team dynamic within an international work environment-Representing Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO) as a prime Point of Contact (POC) for subcontracts or projects-Manage complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW-driven requirements, and other specific procurements as required-Manage sub-tier supplier ecosystem and ensure timely delivery of raw material, component, and sub-assembly deliveries to support Prime project efforts-Negotiate modifications to subcontracts, develop positiveworking relationships, and interface with suppliers via phone, email, and onsite visits, as required. -Confirm and / or expedite material deliveries to support program production dates. Basic Qualifications: Expat Position Located in Kingdom of SaudiArabia -Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and Project Execution-Knowledge of acquisition policies and proceduresassociated with FAR / DFAR requirements-Working knowledge of standard contract types-Experience managing supplier relationships andcross functional teams-Experience with the procurement of specializedmaterials, complex assemblies, and equipmentwithin Defense or Aerospace industries-Strong interpersonal skills and demonstratedcommunication, negotiation, and creative conflict resolution skills-Ability to interact with senior internal andexternal personnel on significant matters whichoften requires coordination between functionalorganizations-Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance *Expat Position Located in Kingdom of SaudiArabia full time*-Must be willing to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia Desired Skills: -Significant International Travel within Saudi Arabia-International Sourcing Experience-Cross functional knowledge of Supplier quality, Engineering as they relate to subcontract management-Strong presentation abilities-Strong independent analysis and listening skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
