<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong></p><ul><li>We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Physiological Chemistry Department at Genentech in a contract position.</li><li>A successful candidate will participate in the identification of novel components in innate immune responses and cell death pathways.</li><li>Experiments will involve cell engineering, microscopy, and in vivo mouse studies</li><li>This is a wet laboratory position where the candidate is expected to thrive in the many collaborative opportunities of this dynamic and fast-paced environment of cutting-edge basic science.</li><li>The drive to advance projects and multi-task with discipline is important.</li></ul><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Execute cell engineering projects</li><li>Assist with in vivo mouse studies</li><li>Interact with cross functional team members and collaborators</li><li>Present data at laboratory meetings and journal club</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors or Masters with 2+ years bench work experience</li><li>Cell culture experience</li><li>Exceptional organizational abilities and ability to work as part of a team</li><li>Ability to interpret and present data at meetings</li><li>Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently</li><li>Willingness to work with animal models</li></ul><p><strong>DESIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic computational literacy</li><li>Strong interest in microbiology and immunology</li></ul><p>This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $27.13/hour-$36.17/hour</p><p>Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)</p><p>Magnit has an ongoing commitment to the diversity and inclusion of all team members.
