Director of Nursing of Cardiovascular ICU - San Antonio, TX Competitive compensation with salary up to $120,000, potential for up to 15% annual bonus, $10,000 relocation bonus, and $10,000 sign-on bonus (negotiable) Position Overview: The Hospital in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing for their Cardiovascular ICU. This is a full-time position with no weekends required. The hospital is renowned for its specialized services, including cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, and more. As the Director of Cardiovascular ICU, you will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional service to patients and their families. Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Director, Vice President, and/or the Chief Nursing Officer Overseeing a team of 70-80 staff and managing 42 beds in the Cardiovascular ICU Facilitating and coordinating patient care throughout their hospitalization period Building and leading a cohesive team that delivers outstanding patient care Collaborating with physicians, staff, and administrators to exceed customer expectations Assessing and implementing effective changes to improve processes and outcomes Qualifications: Minimum three years of recent RN acute care experience Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Current RN license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas or ability to obtain temporary license prior to hire; Texas RN license required within 90 days of hire Consideration will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of experience as a Manager of Critical Care/ICU/CVICU in an acute care facility Experience with HCAHPS and Core Measures is preferred Additional Information: 34-bed CVICU with a focus on high-acuity cardiovascular patients Collaborate with highly skilled ECMO trained physicians and specialty-trained cardiologists Advanced career path progression process and opportunities for nursing growth Competitive compensation with salary up to $120,000, potential for up to 15% annual bonus, $10,000 relocation bonus, and $10,000 sign-on bonus (negotiable) About The Hospital: The Hospital, part of a renowned Medical Center, and has been at the forefront of medical excellence since 1963.
