Duties:Conduct oil and gas title examinations.Draft and review legal documents related to oil and gas transactions.Provide legal advice and guidance on oil and gas matters.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies.Assist with negotiations and settlements.Research and analyze legal issues related to oil and gas law.Handle other legal tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Accredited Law School.Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Ability to promptly get admitted in the state of North Dakota.3+ years of North Dakota oil and gas title examination experience.Strong writing skills.Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.Strong academic background. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Accredited Law School. Certifications:Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills:Oil and gas title examination experience.Legal research and writing skills.Negotiation and communication skills.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy. Law offices are located in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Mexico and China. The legal practice has sixty-four years of professional law experience. There are eleven areas of practice. A number of their practice disciplines consist of banking-financial services, employment-labor, energy and health law.
