Position Description This position supports the Compensation team and HR function with competitive compensation analysis, modeling, research of competitive compensation practices, and other analysis as needed. This role will provide compensation support for all Henry Crown & Co and CC Industries employees (~350 as of 2024), and provide consulting support on compensation issues to CCI operating companies. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Work with cross-functional partners to refine compensation processes, leveraging best practices and operational efficiencies. Build models and conduct analyses supporting compensation programs, special projects, and annual budgeting processes. Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to identify key trends and develop recommendations for improvements to programs, salary structures, or bonus targets, where appropriate. Partner with HR business leaders to conduct job evaluations and market pricing on an on-going basis and consult regarding incumbent pay decisions. Produce ad hoc compliance, merit and other reports to support sound compensation decisions. Coordinate and participate on design teams with business partners from line of business management, HR and Finance to design and manage incentive plans that support the business strategy. Participate in and analyze salary survey data to ensure current pay practices are market competitive and in line with the organization's position. Provide support for the annual compensation planning processes including salary structure update, merit increases and incentive awards. Creates and support development of compensation communication and training materials. Conduct manager training on writing effective job descriptions and compensation fundamentals. Evaluates positions using established evaluation systems, and approves job titles, levels and FLSA classifications. Supports compensation analysis and the evaluation of the pay transparency programs. Manages centralization and analysis of key market data surveys. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to provide compensation support for external searches and new hire offers. Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A teams to review operating company results and corresponding incentive payouts. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience working with broad based compensation programs. Bachelors degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field is preferred. Professional Human Resources or Compensation certification a plus (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR, CCP, CBP, etc.) Working knowledge of industry-standard tools including survey platforms (Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, etc.) and CompAnalyst or other market data tools required. Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex information. Demonstrated ability to perform thorough, quantitative, and qualitative analyses using applicable technology tools. Demonstrated ability to project manage cross-functional initiatives that deliver results, using collaboration and influencing skills. Experience working in a complex organization, preferably where there was a need to maintain consistency across an organization. Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically, creatively and strategically. In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, and regulatory requirements and ability to communicate those to key stakeholders. Don't meet every single requirement?
