Who We are Looking for: American Crafts is looking to hire a part - time Purchasing Clerk to handle the creation and submittingof purchase orders to vendors as well as following up, tracking and monitoring progress of purchaseorders. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Job Duties Clerical and administrative duties related to our company purchasing department Data entry of all purchase orders, including all changes and requirement updates Communicate and work with various project managers for effective and accurate purchase order flow and accountability Negotiate effectively and maintain profitable relationships Tracks open order status and communicates with internal teams Other duties may be assigned Education/Qualifications: Typing proficiency Proficient in MS Excel and Google Applications Attention to detail and accuracy is critical Interpersonal and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to multitask Capability to work independently and as a member of a team Experience using Sage or similar ERP software systems Excellent computer skills College Degree - Supply Chain (preferred) Mandarin Chinese speaking (preferred) Pay - $15-$20 per hour DOE Hours – Part Time (20-30 hours per week) Equal Employer Opportunity (EEO) American Crafts provides equal employmentopportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race,color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
