Assistant Production Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Production Manager in planning and scheduling all entertainment and activities on board a cruise ship - Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of all shows and events- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of production staff, including performers, technicians, and other crew members- Monitor and maintain inventory of all production equipment and supplies- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during rehearsals and performances- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming shows and events- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to production staff to improve performance and maintain high-quality standards- Assist with budget management and cost control measures- Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to production and entertainment activities- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for new and innovative entertainment ideasQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production management, preferably in the entertainment industry- Strong leadership and communication skills- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Knowledge of technical aspects of production, including lighting, sound, and stage management- Experience in budget management and cost control- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents for international travel
