Description:
* Act as liaison between Company and customer to address customer quality concerns and provide requested information to the customer to assist them in understanding our quality systems. * Track scrap, rework, internal and external PPM and lead teams for improvement. * Lead structured problem-solving approach for internal and external problems. * Develop and implement systems to support IATF16949 and ISO14001 compliance activities to include but not limited to creating and implementing inspection criteria and procedures. * Actively lead continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste. * Support APQP launch initiatives. * Evaluate supplier quality performance with Purchasing. Drive supplier quality improvement and lead in supplier development and corrective action activities on an as needed basis. * Administer customer warranty process and provide technical support for all customer supplied product. * Supervise quality engineers/technician. * Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial engineering preferred. * 5-year minimum experience in Tier One automotive sector preferred. * 3-year min. experience in using APQP tools (FMEA, Control Plans, QFD, DOE) required. * 3-year min. experience in 8D problem solving process required. * 1 year min. experience in using and applying Statistical tools required. * 3-year min. experience in IATF16949 or equivalent QMA methodology required. * 1 year min. experience in Supplier development preferred. * Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. * Experience with metrology and measurement systems/devices (CMM, hand gages).Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
