The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Florida's legacy accounting, payroll, and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. To learn more about the Florida PALM Project, visit our website at myfloridacfo/floridapalm SPECIAL NOTES: Four (4) years of relevant work experience in Information Technology, particularly in the areas of legacy and service:oriented architecture integration is required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (i.e., Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science) from an accredited four:year college may substitute for the required experience. Additional requirements: : Minimum three (3) years' professional work experience in the software development lifecycle including, technology requirements gathering, configuration, development, testing and implementation of systems.: Experience in technology requirements gathering, configuration, specification development, testing and implementation of systems. : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all employee levels and levels of management. : Ability to thrive in a fast:paced culture of change and innovation. Preferences: : Experience working on system replacement projects and understanding of technical dependencies and required remediation efforts.: Participated in data conversion efforts to migrate data from a legacy system into a new system.: Experience developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes or other data integration processes.: Experience with state of Florida accounting data.: Demonstrated ability to be a self:starter, taking initiative rather than waiting for direction. This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. The annual salary range for this position is 75, : 90, . Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
