Position Highlights: Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster. Gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.Job Summary Assist care for patients in the clinic setting. Develop long-term, rewarding relationships with a unique subset of patients. Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.Education and/or Experience Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred. Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.Certification, Licensure, Registration National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.Work Schedule Varied ShiftsPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $18.50 - $25.75 per hour What Makes Avera Special?
