Project Overview Bechtel has been providing program, project, and construction management services for Riverside County Transportation Commission(RCTC) for the past 36:years. The project team helps RCTC to implement Measure A, the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) / Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) and adopted plans and programs in compliance with state and federal requirements with the goal of providing the residents of Riverside County greater mobility, improved quality of life, operational excellence, and economic vitality. Position Summary The Rail Delivery Manager is responsible for the organization and direction of engineering and construction personnel and activities relating to construction engineering, construction management consultants, subcontracts, and engineering liaison to the design consultants for rail projects. Provide oversight to construction management consultants and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Provides construction oversight in a wide range of construction engineering and design functions relating to rail transportation projects throughout Riverside County. Responsibilities : Manage the procurement, selection, and oversight of construction management and design consultants for rail projects.: Oversight management of design and construction for a large commuter rail construction contracts and construction management consultants.: Supervise deputy construction managers and consultant resident engineers.: Develops and recommends the construction engineering organization for approval by the RCTC Construction Manager and prepares employee requisitions for rail projects.: Coordinates with engineering on constructability and design issues. Establishes a Design/Field Engineering working relationship and lines of communication with the Project Engineer including agreement on engineering deliverables. : Responsible for reviewing Engineer's quantity take:offs, control, reporting, and forecasting.: Directs preparation of cost estimates for construction activities and coordinates the preparation of cost reports, forecast and progress reports.: Reviews and provides input to project controls documents on progress relating to cost and schedule.: Plans and recommends procedures to be implemented by field engineers to ensure
