We are currently looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on Mondays and Fridays from 8:00am-6:00pm, with the possibility of adding more shifts if desired. We are open to other shift times; our greatest need is for afternoon shifts from 2:00-6:00pm or 4:30-6:30pm. There is possibility for this position to grow into a full-time position.Our wage range for Part-Time SLP's, with a weekly schedule between 20-36 hours a week, is $33.25 - $39.00 per hour. We offer the benefits listed below to our Part-Time employees.We also offer an hourly, Per Diem wage of $49.88 - $58.50 per hour, for employees wishing to work 8-20 hours a week. This compensation model has a higher productivity expectation and does not include benefits other than Sick Leave. Ways that Parkwood reduces barriers for families include: We accept a variety of insurance panels, including Medicaid and OHP, to reduce financial barriers for families seeking services Currently provide skilled 1:1 service to clients in 5 locations Skilled, HIPAA compliant telehealth Collaborative model of treatment so that clients can work with more than one therapist Multiple specialties (feeding, OMT, AAC, fluency, and reading) Data driven therapy model to ensure that sessions are covered by insurance panels Advanced training for our team so they are looking through a skilled lens in their therapeutic approach Paid mentorship for staff members Collaboration with outside providers; listening to our pediatricians, dentists, orthodontists, school team members State-of-the-art clinics designed from a therapist’s perspective to help provide the highest quality therapy in a calm, organized space Team Philosophy Have fun! We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who resonates with our company’s purpose and can help us help more kids!Duties and Responsibilities include: Produce comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluations to the Parkwood standard of quality Treatment of clients across all ages and abilities continuum Use of Fusion Web Clinic EMR to support the clinical documentation process, including but not limited to: Evaluation writing Goal writing Completing letters of medical necessity Treatment notes (including the use of correct CPT Code(s) & ICD-10(s)) Re-evaluations Screenings Signed Mutual Exchanges of Information Correspondence with referring providers/interdisciplinary communication & collaboration Maintain all requirements for ASHA & Oregon Board licensure Maintain CEU credits Feeding/AAC/OMT training preferred Requirements: Our ideal candidate supports our company’s purpose and possesses the following skills: Clinical Skills: Enjoys working with the pediatric population and their families/caregivers Creative, wholistic approach to treatment Ex. Considering the role of orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD) in articulation errors and behavioral patterns Strong behavior management skills across pediatric populations Driven to meet clinic and client goals/targets Ability to initiate and foster professional relationships Likes to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Desire to learn and advance clinical skill set Non-Clinical/Soft Skills: Effective and efficient problem-solving abilities Confident, outgoing, professional demeanor Strong communication skills Flexibility in thinking and ability to adapt quickly to changes Excellent time management skills Close attention to detail Strong organizational skills Good attendance and punctuality Professional dress and appearance Education: Master's (Required) License/Certification: Active Oregon SLP License and ASHA "CCC" Certification (Required) * All candidates who have received a written offer of employment will be required to undergo testing and pass a drug screen for commonly abused controlled substances (including THC), and consent to a background check.
