Read on to learn more about this exciting opportunityandjoinour quest for the best.Essential Functions*: * Develop and oversee the financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. * Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership. * Formulate, monitor, and manage the organization's budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with regulatory requirements * Prepare, present, and deliver accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and government authorities as required, ensuring strict adherence to financial reporting standards and regulations. * Oversee financial aspects of government contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms, cost accounting standards, and relevant regulations. * Identify, assess, and proactively manage financial risks associated with operations and contracts, implementing strategic measures to mitigate these risks and safeguard financial stability. * Coordinate and manage both internal and external audits, ensuring strict compliance with government regulations, policies, and procedures, and subsequently implementing necessary corrective actions based on audit findings. * Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulations. * Participate in contract negotiations, leveraging financial expertise to secure favorable terms, and concurrently, develop and review pricing strategies for government contracts. * Lead and develop the finance team, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture, while also providing mentorship and guidance to foster the professional growth of the finance staff. * Interface with government representatives, agencies, and auditors to address financial matters and maintain positive relationships. * Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations and systems, and subsequently implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.Position Requirements*: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
