Employbridge Search Group has a client in Halset, TX who is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE position with competitive salary and benefits. Job Duties * Assist in analyzing operational costs for the company, budgeting/forecasting, costing products * Act as the finance business partner for the Texas facility * Gather financial data (e.g., manufacturing consumption, labor costs, etc) * Analyze the data in accordance with company goals and direction * Responsible for maintaining item costs to assure accuracy of ingredient costs, labor, and overhead content. * Analyze and audit actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. * Monitor production yield and comparison to standard yield. * Monitor and report on the performance of labor and overhead standards as compared to actual costs. * Participate in establishing manufacturing performance standards while leveraging the ERP system. * Monitoring unit cost and production cost variances. * Generate ad hoc financial analyses as required by management for all aspects of the business. * Collect data to determine the cost of and differences between the various manufacturing processes to provide support on variances. * Develop and distribute weekly/monthly KPI reports for Supply Chain. * Work with cross functional teams to ensure efficient and cost effective start up for the production facility and distribution center. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor's degree is required in business management, finance, operations, logistics, or a similar field. * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. * ERP application knowledge in the manufacturing space, SAP preferred. * Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role. * Proficient with Microsoft Suite * Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvement * Must have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and technological skills
