Lot Attendant - Sales - Nissan of NormanPosition SummaryThe primary responsibility of this position is to keep a display that is neat, orderly, and clean to maximize the delivery of a quality product at a quality level.Core ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position. * Arrange inventory on the lot in neat and orderly fashion, and ensures the lot is clean at all times * Route all purchased vehicles and trade-ins to service and reconditioning as directed * Maintain a clean store and lot area * Deliver vehicles to upholstery shops, body shops, auctions, etc., as needed * Report damage of incoming and existing inventory; or lights out to management immediately * Check all equipment to make sure it is working properly and properly maintained * Enforce safety precautions specific to work area * Other responsibilities as assignedMinimum QualificationsThe requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position. * Valid driver's license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record. * High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills * Ability to identify and achieve targeted goals * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand verbal and written instructions * Ability to work well with a range of individuals * Ability to prioritize various tasks * Ability to clearly communicate with customers and coworkers alike to ensure an excellent customer experience * Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team * Ability to effectively respond to inbound and outbound phone calls * Excellent attention to detail, professional demeanor, and a positive 'can do' attitudePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Working ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those one may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
