Company Entity : Wild Pastures Classification : Non-exempt, Temporary Full-time Reports to : Warehouse Supervisor Location : Phoenix, Arizona Warehouse. Located in Southern Phoenix (nearest intersection is Southern Ave and 40th). Salary Range : $19.00 per hour Position Details: This role is Temporary (Full-time) to cover a short-term need over the next few months. If the role extends beyond 60 days, the hire will be eligible for medical benefits. Depending on the overall need, there may be the opportunity to convert the hire to a regular full-time employee. Shift : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with voluntary OT from time to time The Company Paleovalley is a health-conscious snack and supplement company. We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from any and all chemicals. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Temporary Home Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to help us support our growing customer base. This position is 80% driver and 20% warehouse. When driving, they will be responsible for delivering packages and orders directly to customer's homes, following routes as assigned, and interacting professionally when speaking or interacting with customers. When at the warehouse, they will receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. May operate power equipment to fill orders. May mark prices on merchandise. We’re looking for someone who : Has a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Enjoys being on the road 30-40 hours per week. Doesn't mind working in a 45 degree room for extended periods and occasionally a 0 degree freezer for very short periods. Has excellent communication skills and the ability to enthusiastically communicate directly with our customers and employees. Has the ability and willingness to handle some heavy lifting. Some of our products arrive in 40 lb boxes. We make great use of equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, but there is still some lifting required. Also, some of our customers with large families regularly have 30+ lb deliveries. Is available to work up to 40 hours a week. (Day Shift, M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm) Willing to occasionally work OT. Able to work in Phoenix, Arizona. Can reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work. Is “tech savvy” with things like Google Sheets, phone apps, and other web based software. Required Education and Experience This is an entry level role and does not require any previous experience or education. Preferred Education & Experience High School Diploma or the equivalent 1+ year of previous Driver and warehouse experience is preferred. Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable) The employee must be authorized to work in the United States and must possess a valid driver’s license.
