E Construction, a division of N. P. A. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator with experience primarily in operating Loader and Dozer for our Underground and Base crews for the upcoming 2024 Construction Season! Key Responsibilities • Operate the equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. • Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area. • Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. • Operate equipment on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings. • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of various equipment. • Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the equipment. • Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required. Qualifications Requirements • High School Diploma or G. E. D. preferred. • Class 5 Drivers License. • Minimum 2 years' experience within the road construction industry. • 2 - 3 years' experience operating a Dozer and Loader or other piece of Heavy Equipment. Working Conditions Schedule of Monday - Saturday, up to 12 hours per day (weather dependent). Overtime is paid. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
