Position: Collections Clerk Position Type: Fulltime permanent Location: Edmonton - West Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Opportunity First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a Collections Clerk at our Edmonton West branch. The Collections Clerk will contribute in one of Canada's best managed companies. Be a part of a team that takes trucking to the next level of quality and professionalism. Duties and Responsibilities Develops collection strategies and monitors past dues while developing standards, improvements, or changes to positively impact past dues and customer service levels. Manages daily collection activities for assigned portfolio of customers, including but not limited to, reviewing past due accounts, and making recommendations for escalation. Recommending and supporting AFDA balances, monthly. Collects payments from customers. Sends invoices and statements to customers via facsimile, mail, or email. Communicates with customers regarding payment status. Generates refund requests. Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and customer issues. Corresponds with customers and responds to inquiries. Contacts and develops relationships with past due clients. Proactively manage deteriorating trends and report any potential loss exposures in a timely manner. Works with internal departments to handle collection service levels for the largest and most sensitive customer accounts. Processes and post credit card payments on account Set up customers in document delivery. Monthly reporting on all accounts over 60 days. Credit overrides to a maximum of 10k, anything above this amount. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
