Project Superintendent - Electrical

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting four Critical Success Factors: Safety First! Financial Success. Employee Satisfaction. Customer Satisfaction. JOB SUMMARY Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or more trade groups or sub-contractors (Fire alarm, Low Voltage, etc.) working in a particular construction discipline. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Completion of a four-year accredited electrical apprenticeship program, four-year college degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience. Minimum of four years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements. Valid Colorado (or reciprocal) JW license. OSHA 30 certification a plus. Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation experience. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and ability to supervise ten to fifty employees is essential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and supervise craft activities including method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked. Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors. Maintain liaison with engineering and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required. Assist Human Resources in maintaining communications regarding employee job site performance as well as attendance and reviews. Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented. Maintain liaison with vendors and Inspectors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule. This position is required to drive. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
