Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance as well as some experience in contract preparation. This individual will ensure that all of our trades are compliant with their insurance requirements before and during the time spent on our job sites. They will also be responsible for Land Development contract preparation and ensuring that all contracts are executed, distributed, and saved appropriately. Experience within Real Estate Development or Construction is preferred. What You Will Do: Examine Certificates of Insurance and Endorsements for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to our contractual requirements. Work with trades/vendors regarding questions of compliance, endorsement, and policy requirements. Follow up with Insurance agents to verify policy coverage, gather additional policy information, and cancellations. Notify AP, Land, or Purchasing of any insurance compliance issues. Maintain a log of Insurance compliance progress. Work alongside the Treehouse Operations team to prepare Land Development contracts. Verify that all contracts are executed (Land Development, Purchasing, Amenity) and saved in the appropriate drive. Evaluate and suggest improvements to processes and procedures. Ideally, you'll have: 3+ years in an insurance compliance related role. Extensive knowledge of General Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, Professional Liability, and Auto Liability coverages is required. Understanding of Additional Insured and Waiver of Subrogation endorsements. Knowledge of contract preparation You'll crush it if you have experience with Experience or knowledge of the construction industry, particularly construction-related insurance products and terminology. In-depth contract knowledge and negotiation with client red-lines.
