Employbridge Search Group is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager in the Commerce CA area. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee the company's facilities and maintenance department. Ensure a safe and clean working environment complying with procedures, rules, and regulations * Optimize equipment according to standard procedures, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all key performance indicators (KPIs) * Create and implement standard operating procedures, as needed. * Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency and prevent equipment obsolescence * Provide effective advanced trouble shooting support and utilization of equipment to diagnose malfunctions * Conduct and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines, systems and auxiliary equipment to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions * Follows and maintains to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the execution of the work schedule and operational support * Maintain, order parts and components for jobs as needed. Assists with development of a spare parts inventory for new and existing equipment * Document repairs, adjustments, and replacement of equipment and/ or components per cGMP and GDP standards * Follow OSHA requirements, Hazmat and safety processes * Coordination with cross-functional teams regarding maintenance prevention and repairs * Maintain proper documentations as required by regulatory and compliances * Follow and maintain SOPs, GMPs and safety rules QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent of experience * 5 plus years of manufacturing maintenance experience in plastic or food industries * Maintenance supervisory experience preferred * Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems * Ability to read and translate mechanical and electrical schematics * Knowledge of mechanical principles, including general calibrations * Perform shop floor competencies * Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical and project management skills * Bilingual English and Spanish a plus * In accordance with California law, the expected salary for this California position is $100,000-$125,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education.
