We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Keegan, Tindal, & Jaeger, as a Legal Assistant. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to our legal team and contribute to the efficient operation of our law firm. This is a full-time position in Davenport, Iowa. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases- Assist with drafting and editing legal documents, including contracts and pleadings- File and organize legal documents, both physical and electronic- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role- Ability to gather and analyze information effectively- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client communication- Previous experience in legal administrative work is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the legal field.
