Job Purpose: To generate programs to produce components on in-house CNC machines. The successful Offline CNC Programmer EDGECAM day to day duties will include: Produce programs for in house CNC manufactured items from drawings received from Design Engineers. Inform Design Engineers of billet sizes for BOM purposes for tooling. Ensure CNC programs are available for release to the machine operator through DNC link. Produce Pro-Report drawing for use by machine operator. Liaise with shop floor to relay accurate machining information. Assist the Design Team where appropriate. Ensure that all documentation is maintained on a day to day basis. Ensure that all information is stored in the appropriate manner Assist colleagues and customers with problems that arise offering practical and appropriate solutions. Deal professionally, competently and courteously with customers and colleagues in verbal and written communications. Support the Production Office Coordinator in monitoring and maintaining.
